I made the one skein scarf from the happy hooker book. It took me awhyle. And it isn't perfect. I need more practice. My tension is not always correct.

How people hold their work whyle they crochet ? I saw on youtube different ways. It seems that i have ti find my own way in wich i am confortable with.
Thanks for looking.

I love that scarf pattern, it is so easy, and those colors you picked are wonderful.  And especially with the color changing yarn, no one will ever notice its not perfect.  And if they do, so what?  That's what handmade is for!

And I think yes, that everyone kind of holds it their own way.  For me, if it's something long like a scarf, I'll try to bunch it up in my lap, or even on a pillow, so it's not hanging down and pulling the current stitches.
