hi guys, hopefully this is the right place to post this Huh but i'm new to crafster, and make my own handmade bags and accessories from new, recycled and vintage fabrics. Please see my blogspot www.babyphunk.blogspot.com just wondering if anyone can suggest any vintage/handmade shops that I could try and contact regarding consignment or wholesale?? Thank you

I know of a few online boutiques that sell handmade goods:

and then there is always etsy too!

Good luck!

There are a couple in Croydon, South Australia.  I am afraid I can't remember their names though.  I'll check it out next time I'm out that way and PM you if you like?  They are great shops - one is more along the lines of funky fabrics, and you doing your own, and the other sells made goods (so probably better for you).  Their prices inspired me to try my own hand at rag doll making, but other than that they're pretty good =).

Ever stop to think and forget to start again?

I don't think you said which city you are in.

In Melbourne there are some great shops in an underground arcade. You can access them from Flinders St, it used to be the underground access to the train station.
It's called Degraves St (or Degraves Arcade).
I got into a conversation with one of the shop owners and he asked if I made stuff and showed me some skirts made with vintage fabrics and said he's looking for stuff to sell.

: )

There are a lot of handmade high-end boutiquey places up in North Melbourne, along Victoria St.  There's also some vintage places in Fitzroy.  I like Lost + Found and Circa.  And then obviously there's also Retrostar on Swanston St.
