I found Holly at a fabric store in England about 12 years ago.  She came pre-printed with a story as well as some ideas for how to decorate her.

I added green pipping to her hat, made her lace collar, added lace to her stockings and sleeves, made berries for the holly in her basket, peiced ribbon to make her stockings, and embroidered her skirt and the braiding on her jacket.  When she was finished I stuffed her and hand sewed her together.

Aww that's so cute!

My grandmother used to make me these kind of stuffed toys when I was little, I've been wondering lately where to find them so I can make my own for my little cousins

Very pretty.  In fact, I think she looks quite lovely.  I'd like to find pattern printed fabric for nice dolls too.
