So I am an avid pattern hater...we just do not get along. I have never completed anything I have started with a pattern, until tonight Smiley And those One Hour pattern...they lie. I made this skirt for my mom to it looks funky on my dressform because she is about a sz 14 and my dressform is a size 4. But you get the idea. It is McCalls M5430 view B. Which is a wrap skirt if you can't tell. The one hour skirt (they lie I tell you!) C&C appreciated Smiley

I think it looks really nice.  I like the fabric a lot.  I never use patterns either so I feel ya on that.  I hope your mom likes it.  Smiley

I hate patterns as well. I usually start off with one and end up winging it anyways.. Sometimes it works out and somtimes not...heh.

I just stumbled upon this thread when I googled "McCall's M5430," and happened upon Craftster, where I'm already a member - don't know why I didn't think to check here first!

Anyway, yours looks adorable, and I hope mine turns out as well.  Anything I need to watch out for here? Any wonky bits in the pattern?
