ulcdmj and juneapostrophe: I didn't even notice the similarities until you guys brought both of those things up! And I dig Tool videos, thought was completely not even thinking about them when making it. I also loved watching District 9 - and maybe the visuals made me love it more.  Cheesy

I've started making a new house (without time constraints!), this time it's going to be multiple stories (two stories and an attic) - I'm still working out the main construction of the piece at the moment.

really cool work !!! I love everything about it! You should to a stopmotion of him cooking something (like previous craftsters have said)
What did your teacher think about it?
And about the dust thing, I know about this, we also have to make stuff for school and when you get a grade, I don't know what to do with it so it gets piled up at my dorm/room at home and loads and loads of dust Cheesy

Okay, now I'm so have to figure out how to do a little stop motion in the future.

My teacher thought it was awesome. He knew I was torturing myself over the whole thing since the moment he assigned it. And I definitely know he was kind of surprised at how finished it turned out - the project was all over the place.

Glad to know that other people's projects are dust gatherers. I know I have a HUGE pair of ostrich wings stuffed into a shed at the moment. No idea what to do with them.  Cheesy

Make the wings wall art, lol! Thats what I did with a pair I made for a costume, they are too stiff to stick in a box, so they hang on the wall next to one of my art tables in my office.

Love love love love love this project! Stop motion would be fantastic with it. The character reminds me a bit of the aliens in the attic movie creatures but darker like 9. And I always love darker ^_~

Anywho, love it! Can't wait to see your two story now.

I'm bringing sexy back, I think I dropped it somewhere between the donut shop and the Cheesecake Factory.

Well done, well done!!  Not only do I adore miniature things, but you did a great job using your brush to create a mood in the walls and cupboards, and the placement of all of the glued-on objects (wall-hangings,etc.) is just top-notch.  The tenant made my jaw drop, it is wonderful beyond wonderful.  It all made me smile so much.  Thanks for the great pics.
