Hi everyone! I made it back from deer camp unscathed (and so did all the deer). I'll be updating the send/receive list on the first page tomorrow afternoon and will also update feedback. Thanks for everyone's patience!

What did you do at deer camp?

We're just a million little gods causing rain storms turning every good thing to rust.

I don't want to know! Moving to Michigan has taught me way too much about hunting season Smiley

My hubby is at deer camp right now, but I call it "beer camp."  He takes his gun and sits in his blind, but he never shoots anything.  He DOES play poker, sit in the old time sauna (it's the only way to clean up at camp), drink copious amounts of beer and generally does "guy stuff".  I'm sure AQ had at much more refined time at camp! Cheesy  Ironically, three deer (all does) strolled through my yard this morning!  Cheesy

I am hoping to post pictures of the awesome package I received from alteredmommy this morning -- I have to locate batteries!

Damn you PW, I just got that song out of my head.  Non-resident deer season ended this week.  All our deer are so conditioned that they automatically move into town on the first day and torment the hunters by standing around in peoples' yards when they come in at dark.  Then as the last Vermont licence plate drives past the town limits they casually stroll back into the bush and return to their wild ways.

This was a fun and generally stress-free swap, so I'm glad everybody enjoyed it.  I might be up for another round in a month or two.  You know, when I can close my eyes without hearing the screaming.   Wink

Need something crocheted?  I'll swap amis, afghans, shawls or whatever for a box of yarn.  Smiley
