More great stuff! I second j_q's comment about this gallery being like Christmas. It pretty much makes my day every time I look at it.

So many beautiful and thoughtful stitchings. I <3 them all Smiley

Gatsbygirl, I literally just squealed with delight and my coworkers asked me what was wrong...

I love it SO much!  Grin

I will be out of town June 11-20 with limited computer access. (Be patient with me, I'm on the beach!)

Sonjabegonia -- Great job on your swan and butterly. They both have such a nice vintage look/feel to them.

ThirdMargaret -- Varigated floss is so much fun to work with. I wish there were more options for colors and lengths of the shadings. And everything is better with sequins, beads and rhinestones.

Lilyvanilli -- The Haunted House flyer is an inspired idea. I think I just disovered why I've been hanging on to some old party flyers since college.

ISewCute -- OMG. That portrait is just so special. It completely blows me away.

AlwaysInspired -- I have a weakness for anything Day of the Dead. Your Catrina goes perfectly with her partner.

IamSusie -- That clown fish is fantastic. So simple yet gives off the impression of being intricate and complicated.

I'm not happy, I'm cheerful. There's a difference.

IamSusie, I adore the clown fish!  You did a terrific job on him!

I Am Susie ~ I remember when you used the chain stitch to fill in the S.S. poodle design -- it makes such a great fill stitch, provides great texture, and you make it work so well!! I love the clown fish.

Always Inspired ~ Your DotD lass is so cute!! What a great pair they make.

Zombie Queen - love the addition to my John Hughes towel!

ThirdMargaret - thanks so much for posting pics of my swan and butterfly.  I still don't know what's wrong with my digital camera.  I now have 2 digital cameras and both have problems.  I'm starting to believe it's user error, not component error  Smiley

I finished up ritapizza's apron last night, and here are some pictures:

I based it on some prints from one of my favorite Etsy shops, beethings (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5456672).  I wrote to the artist and she gave me permission to stitch her designs!

And here is Rita's apron so far:

catching up on comments! Forgive me for my bursts in & out like this, but I've been having some health issues that make it uncomfortable for me to stay at the computer for long. Once the dang gall bladder is out...I will be good to go! Anyhow, I digress...

j_q_adams ... too cute for words! Did you show her the finished stitched pieces? If so...what did she say? I bet she loved them!

IamSusie - your 'Nemo-fish' is amazing! I really like how the stitching made that great texture!  Wink I may have to borrow that technique on a future piece!

AlwaysInspired - you made a perfect match to Lily's man! LoL! I love her!

Lilyvanilli - the haunted house flyer rocks! ...super addition to the Halloween theme!

ThirdMargaret - nice pattern!...did you design it? I love the addition of the sparklies!

Sonjabegonia - I love how you signed your pretty butterfly!

Gatsbygirl - A-MAY-ZING! ...and it's very well positioned on the towel!

Kittykill - Love everything about her... especially those lashes!

Glenda - your photo doesn't do your crayon tinting justice! I'm so happy to see your work in person like this!
(its even a bit christmaslike when you get another towel in the mail... I squeal as I open each package... "fun mail!!!" and my kids must think I'm silly!  Roll Eyes

ZombieQueen - clever work on Sonja's towel!

Sarahj2001 - Awesome horse... love the pose! ...just try less strands as some folks already suggested... on tight detail areas. We are probably all our own worst critics & I think your work is a-ok!

Sonjabegonia - ...the swan is so elegant... Love the word 'glide' in the water & how you signed your work! ...I always forget to do that!

Ritapizza - great work on the loose weave fabric! Was it difficult to stitch on?

Aada - Fab car!!! Any car with fins rocks!

Fenifer - I like your stitch variety...gives the line work so much visual interest!  Wink

Whew! That was a mouthfull! Hope I didn't leave anyone out! Embarrassed

Check out Trinkets & Jewelry! Wink
