I am in dire need of a poodle skirt... Have to have it by seven tonight. I have five and a half hours! and a lot a lot of muslin. should i just skip that and head to wal-mart to see if they have some felt or should i attempt to make one out of muslin? i would like to use up all this muslin cause i have so much but i just feel like a muslin poodle skirt would be flat and boring..  Undecided thoughts?

you need a petticoat to make the skirt poofy. a felt skirt isn't going to be much poofier than a muslin skirt. you probably could make the skirt out of muslin, but like i said, you need a petticoat.
