This is a great project! I have been wanting to get double doors to go into our game room that were painted like the TARDIS but getting them installed will be too much trouble-- maybe I will do this instead. Great job!!

Dangerously clever and resourceful.

Awesome!!!  We're doing something similar with my son's bedroom door but by using blue bulletin board paper so as not to give my landlord a total heart attack.  But, I like your really painted one so much better!

Bulletin Board paper is a great idea for a non-permanent solution.  We're really lucky to be in our own house, so we can do whatever to the doors.  I've done a few others that will definitely come with us if we ever move out!   Grin

First off I wanna say that this door is awesome, you guys did an awesome job!!
He is one very lucky boy to have such a cool door!!

But on another note.... I noticed someone post that if they didn't rent, they would have this door, and I think I have seen ppl say that about other doors.  I just wanted to put out there that even though you do rent... you CAN have this door, or what ever you want to put on a door.  With permission from the LL I buy a new door... paint it, and just store the LLs door in the back of the laundry room, closet, garage till you move out, and bring your awesome, colorful door with you to your new place!!

Just a thought!
