Im having an awful time with my photo software, so I apologize for the quality of the photos.  Here are the wonderful gifts that Troublet sent to Laramie.

First is THE Batman cape.  He even used it as a blanket one night.  He loves it!  The first picture is when he first opened it and was trying to put it on.  Troublet did such a beautiful job on it.

Next is the Super Laramie bag.  This will be so perfect for our trips to the library.

Then is the monster tooth pillow.  I am so grateful for this because I hadnt made him a tooth pillow yet and Im sure it wont be long until he will need it.  And it is sooo cute!

And I just realized that I dont have a picture of the adorable crocheted lion that she sent.  And he is asleep with it right now.  He is so crazy about it, he has never been attached to a stuffed animal, but he is now.  He carries it with him every where.  I will take a picture tomorrow and post it.

She also sent candy for all the kids and a bunch of extra little surprises.  Thank you so much Troublet for angeling for us.  It was well worth the wait.  You are awesome!

I'm so glad his cape fit!

I have a pic of the lion if you can't get it out of his hands. lol  I'm making a version of the lion for my daughter. Emily went into drool mode when she saw me finishing it.

Thank you for the action pics. I'm glad that he likes his goodies. Smiley

Thanks Troublet for the pic, I have trouble getting my hands on his lion.  That is crochet, right?  I know a very small amount of crochet, I was looking for a book at the library to help me learn.  I would LOVE to learn to do that.  Can anyone suggest a good, easy to understand beginning crochet book?

It is crocheted SFabulous.

I've just learned to crochet myself within the past year and this pattern (found on Lion's Brand website under amigurumi) is not difficult at all. The books that I used to learn were Crochet for Dummies and Visual Crochet. Smiley

I find youtube is great for visual learners. I just taught my self to knit this way, so I can tell you that it works great!
