1) of course I have to say this is awesome and I plan to do this very soon, just like everyone else.

2) I also buy fruit once a week at a fruit stand and have often bought large batches of bananas and had a bake off bc they are SO much cheaper! so I have a tip...if after you've used up as many bananas as you want and eaten your fill you have any left over, wait till they start browning (like as brown as you would like for banana bread) and then freeze them whole, in the peel. Then, when you want to make banana flavored baked goods, you just take a banana out and put it in the fridge. When its defrosted you can snip off one end with scissors and just squeeze it out of the peel. its already mushy enough to just stir and use!

Doesn't freezing bananas make them turn a brownish-black?

Just the skins. The inside's fine. Although if you freeze them without skins (or a lovely chocolate shell) after they get mushy they turn slimy in the bag. Especially if you slice them. THAT was a disaster! But if they're fresh you can freeze them sans peel and they're just fine and dandy.

almond bark melted slowly in the micorwave with peanut butter should also make an excellent  coating. I use it for candy every year. In place of marshmallows for rice crispy treats. pm for recipe. Best candy ever and would be great over bananas. No double boilers needed.

Those look really really good.  I love bananas more than anything in the whole world but sometimes I just can't eat them fast enough and they start to turn very quickly but this is a great way to do something very super delicious with them!

When I was Little these were sold at Dairy Queen and were called Monkey Tails. They are fantastic! Thanks for the reminder.

I can't say for sure, as they were gone embarrassingly fast, but i'd imagine they keep as long as ice cream bars do- until they get freezer burned. Which really depends on your freezer. I've had freezers that would burn in a couple of weeks, but most will keep for at least a few months.
