Here's one more that I did recently for a girl who shares a birthday with Amelia Erhart.  It was a birthday gift, so I did a party dress, but also gave her a flight jacket, cap and goggles so she was ready to take flight.


She's a Raspberry Truffle sock monkey, hand-dyed to pink perfection.

Thanks!  I think that's why I like making them so much.  With each one it's fun to see who emerges.  It's usually when I'm stitching the facial features that their little personalities begin to take shape.  I'm having a blast!

I absolutely love this sock monkey.  I have been making sock monkeys forever.
I was wondering, what do you use to dye your socks?  She is just fantastic!
