That's really neat. I love the thought behind everything and how you tied it together, like with the EEG patterns on the quilting. Very cool and nice work!

Thanks for everyone's comments! You're so kind! If anyone is in Southern California, the Science Quilt will be at the Ventura County Fair starting next week. And there's an "Art+Science" exhibit I'm entering it into in the fall, in the UK.. nervous about showing it, but your comments have been so supportive!

This is AMAZING. I especially love how detailed the stitching is!

I know this was posted a little while ago, but I remember seeing it back in July and I didn't have a craftster account until recently, so I thought I had to comment on it now.  Did your quilt get judged at the art fair (or maybe you said county fair)?  And the Science+Art exhibit - very excellent!  What types of things are in the Science+Art exhibit?  I'd be very courious to see, but a) I am sure its over, b) I don't live anywhere near California ... or the UK.  How did you do?  Did you get a lot of good comments?  I hope so - this is excellent.

When you had to redo the quilt, did you find that you liked working on it again - I mean, did you feel as excited about the project the second time you did it as you did the first time?

I really like your idea - the sleep patterns as quilting patterns are awesome - much better than just stippling and meandering - and they have a "meaning" to the quilt - which also ties everything in really well together!  And what better activity to do with a quilt, but sleep!

As you should be able to see from my name, Scientific Quilter, that I love science and now I love quilting, so of COURSE I'm going to love your project!  Many congrats!
