Would anyone be interested in doing an altered puzzle pieces swap?  Here's the original post for the craft-along, started by the genius audio-astrophysics:  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=313436.0

I'm not sure exactly how it would work, but each member would need a puzzle to alter, and the pieces would be sent out to be altered, then returned to the original owner so that each swapper ends up with their own complete altered puzzle to frame, gift, use for inspiration, whatever...

I can't organize, because I'm in package delivery limbo in my first swap and don't know when I'll be joining a second (maybe this one Wink) but I would definitely help with organizing in any way I could.

J is for Jellyfish, a piece from the alphabet themed puzzle I'm currently working on:

I hope audio-astrophysics doesn't mind that I'm totally stealing her project idea, but I love it!

I could organize. I've actually organized a swap like this before, but with an ATC sized puzzle with four pieces and four peoople in a group.

Obviously we don't have to have large groups, just maybe four/five people in a group. And the good thing is everyone doesn't have to have the same puzzle, since we'll just be doing a few pieces at a time!

I've really wanted to do a swap like this for a while!!

Yeah!  I will help you out with organizing for sure (if you want it of course)!  I hope that more people are interested (and that my package finds its way soon so that I can get feedback in my first swap and join a second).  Groups sounds like a good way to do it to me.  Just so I have it straight, if I was in a group of five, I would send out four pieces of my puzzle, receive four pieces from the rest of my group, alter them, send them back to the original owners, and get back my original four pieces?

It be fun to do more than one round to get a complete puzzle!  It seems like a pretty quick fun swap, my pieces have all worked up pretty fast once I get the idea for them.

Ooh, I think this swap sounds fun! I'll have to keep an eye on it. I haven't done any papercraft/altered swaps yet- this sounds like a good one to get my feet wet. Smiley

It is!  This is one of my first altered projects, and my only real papercrafting experience is some cards and collages.  One puzzle piece isn't nearly as daunting as a whole page.

Would everyone need to start off with the same jigsaw puzzle, so the pieces would fit together correctly?
