What an awesome rug!! I cant believe it only took you 15 days.. Ive just started making GS... and one takes me an hour!!!

Was wondering how its held up now that you have been walking on it for a while ?

Seriously in awe of the craft stashes that are on this forum.
I bow down to your awesomeness.

This is seriously one of the most freakin great things I've ever seen! Raccoon Mario is my favorite, out of everything mario can be! You should make a whole army of mario's buddies and enemies! Think of it: A kitchen full of mushroom men, a bedroom with a princess, Luigi kicken it all the way down the hallway floor (cause he's so tall, you'ld need a sorta long hallway) Anyway, as I'm sure you've been told before, you did a GREAT job! Keep it up!

This. Is. AWESOME. Stumbled on it last night, and now today I am ~20 squares in. Probably won't finish as quickly as you though! Also I used a slightly different design and a different pattern for my squares. I only hope it turns out half as epic as yours!

so i thought i pm'd you asking about the excel chart last night, but my outbox has nothing in it.  If you could email me your chart, I'm so ready to start the great granny square off of 2010.

I'm in the process of using your idea to make my boyfriend a Chocobo rug/blanket/wall-hanging.  It's 31x31 pixels wide so it should end up about 7 3/4ft square.  I was just wondering if you would divulge the yarn and particular granny square pattern you used.  I've tried several yarn & needle combinations and three different patterns but can't get a square that is as solid as yours; the spaces in mine are too large and I don't think that will translate well to the finished piece.  Any suggestions?  And thank you so much for the inspiration, I love over-the-top projects and your Mario is definitely that!

EDIT:  Found a granny square that is much more solid (Circle in a Square) and should work up into a nice piece.  Any suggestions still appreciated though!

This rug is truly amazing. I'm pregnant right now with my first and we've already picked out Mario as a theme if it's a boy (fingers crossed).. Something like this would look AWESOME in the nursery.. Great job!

Always looking for new amazing crafters whose work I can feature on my blog, Going Green with the Grizls. =) www.goinggreenwiththegrizls.com
