For the border, I did a zig zag stitch with my sewing machine. It's folded over so that the stitches on the back are protected, and to hopefully help keep the aida from fraying. I have a handheld eyelet punch that I use. I bought it from a local craft store for about 20 dollars with a bunch of colored eyelets. The keychain came in a little bagged assortment of keyrings at Wal-mart but I bought the bag before our Wally World downsized their craft department so I'm not sure if they'd sell it anymore.

Wow, I never heard of an eyelet punch. I need more craft equipment like I need a wart on my nose but I'm going to look for one anyway. Making these into keychains is really a great idea.

Our Wal-Mart has drastically downsized their craft dept. too. *sigh* But we have three craft stores here so I guess it was inevitable.

Yay! You did it! (saw your action pics) I can only imagine the delight of the people who find these. Putting that one on the plus size jeans was inspired.

You did a great job on the stitching and the placement. You're awesome!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  For being a beautiful person, for being a crafter and for sharing the inspiration of crafts and Operation Beautiful.

I will SO be a part of this fabulous movement!  I love the concept.  I want to share the concept.

Sometimes?...I could use the concept.  Cry  Today is so absolutely one of "those days" but knowing that people are out there randomly sharing the love and inspiration, puts a huge smile on my face when it is so needed. Thanks. Truly.  Smiley

Smiley Thank you, everyone. I highly encourage EVERYONE to get in on the movement and spread the love. It's a really amazing feeling and has me thinking about even more random acts of kindness to bring into my life. This weekend I plan on working out a lot of these little messages for a Monday morning posting spree at the Target where I work as a stocker. I have from 4 in the morning to 8 when the store opens to spread mah covert love!

We went to walmart tonight to pick something up and the tag I left on the jeans was still there! I wonder if it's just a case of those pants haven't been messed with at all, or that people are finding it and purposely leaving it for others to find. Smiley
