Here is my second creation!

My niece is in a girl's choir and needs a bag for her music notebook. I picked up some inexpensive fabric from the quilt section. The white fabric looks like staff and the black fabric has instruments and notes scattered around it.

The pattern is an "Its so easy" Simplicity pattern. I modified the pattern by not putting in a zipper and using a strip of fabric along the top edge. I really need to learn how to do zippers! Sheesh!

The flower is based on a tute I found here. ( I will find my bookmark and post it )

This is just beautiful. I love that you found just the right fabrics to use, and black white and red look great together. Don't be surprised if someone asks to have you make another.
