I have several times bin wondering why craftster doesn't have a clock+date somewhere. I see time written on all post and other places.
It's probably because I'm not American and therefore not that familiar with American timezones but I would really appreciate to have clock. And I can only imagine many other international craftsters feel the same Smiley

Where I find it difficult is especially in the swap sign up. Sometimes you just find the perfect swap on the day sign up closes..,but it's difficult to know wether you can sign up because the swaps have timeframes on that particular day.

The Mitten Project is a year of mittens! Each week a new mitten and you get to choose which ones should be knit. In the end three pairs will be given away to you readers.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but if you go into your "profile" and click on "Look and layout preferences" there is the section that you can change your time zone, you probably changed that at some point when you created your account. Next to "time offset" it does say "current forum time" so you can see what time it is on the east coast of the US, which is where Craftster headquarters is located. Not sure if that helps at all?

When I organize a swap I do always try to say what time zone. LIke, swap ends on this date and time, Pacific time.

i think she means that it's a little hard for not-americans if there's deadlines
for example, as the whole site changed for april fools day, i was really confused as it was about 4pm for me (this is a stupid example, i know.)

even tough i know that it is a few hours earlier in the us.
if there was some sort of clock showing the date/time on the main paige, it would make things easier so one could see what time it is in craftsterland without counting back all the time Smiley
