The girls will be sporting these new tops this week at Myrtle Beach, the small one on the barbie is for their younger cousin who will be on vacation with us, but they thought the Barbie model was cute!
My friend Tracy and I whipped up 4 of these assembly line style using a pattern and, of course, adding length, Pattern is 5797...anyway, a pillowcase top...bandana fabric...Texas here we come!

Those are adorable! I have a little boy, so I don't think one would look right on him, I do have nieces though!....... I do have to bring up.... the barbie is freaking me out, lol. I use to have a my size doll that would walk with you if you tilted her a certain way. Well.... My dad decided I was old enough to watch Childs Play with him (I was 6), and later that night I thought my doll was going to come to life like Chucky and kill me in my sleep, so I dismembered her and threw her down the stairs... lol.

How nice, quick and easy these tops are!  I love the variety in them (different ways to work the straps/ribbon and it could be a top or dress).  What a nice friend to help you make 4 of them and assembly style at that!
