here is my first silkscreen.  i used the craftgrrl method.  i used pantyhose but the stretchiness is kind of a problem.  i would use some kind of sheer curtainy material.  basically now though i feel that i am ready to move on to using an actual silk screen.  I wanted to try this out in a super cheap way before buying something i maybe wouldn't use.

oh also i used high viscosity acrylic paint as was suggested by someone here which worked well for printing the image.  I needed to water it down to paint the stripes, though, as it was pretty thick.

it's a little crooked and the painted background looks kind of third-grade-y, but i am proud!

maybe next time i would print the image first and then paint around it to make it pop a little more and look less ghosty?

Home Movies is such a great show.  I love your shirt and may even be a bit jealous of it.  Good on you!

I have a blog-
