I'm no expert at crochet, but I make my share of scarves every year. I really want to know how to do a drop stitch. I know it's usually done in knitting, but knitting makes me angry Smiley If there is anyone that could point me to a picture tutorial (I'm a visual learner, lol) I would really appreciate it. This is what I'm going for..

That is a link to a crocheted drop stitch scarf pattern on crochetme.
I made one when I first learned to crochet, so it's pretty easy, once you figure out the stitch (which took me a couple tries...)

Here's a link to mine on ravelry, http://www.ravelry.com/projects/amystagner/drop-stitch-scarf, and a link to the original pattern on rav as well, http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/drop-stitch-scarf-10, to help give you some ideas/inspiration and maybe some better pictures to see the stitches...

Knitting also makes me angry! What do you need a second implement for anyways Tongue

To be honest, I look up YouTube videos for tutorials every time I want to learn a new stitch. I couldn't figure out the shell stitch until I saw a vid of it. I'm also a visual learner. Here's an example!

That's awesome! For some reason, I tend to forget about YouTube.
