It's summer here and blazing hot!  Seems most of my summer clothes have decided to all die at the same time so I began refashioning some things that I was originally going to just donate.

1:  Poorly fitting Roxy Board Shorts into skirt:

2:  This is a men's t-shirt and a woman's button front top hacked apart and put back together for something new.  I managed to sew through my left pointer finger in the process.  Promise you won't look at the insides of the shirt!  LOL!  The exterior looks ok but from the inside, you can definitely tell no pattern was used and it's a total hack job! LOL!

Close up of the back:

3:  This was a long sleeved woman's button down from American Eagle.  It was super cute on a hanger a the store with rolled up sleeves held in place by buttons and tabs.  Insanely hard to keep cute once home though!  So, I hacked off the sleeves and made cute little ruffled cap sleeves instead.  The sleeves are actually the cuffs from the original sleeves but turned inside out.  I left the buttons on and left the button holes intact too.

Sleeve close up:

Thanks for looking!

I agree!  I love the boardshorts turned into a skirt!  I always find guys board shorts at Goodwill and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be picking up more of them!

It's a moat.  Filled with badgers.
