My dad is very crafty and wish to make him something for is b-day that reflects that. Help ideas please!

Could you be a bit more specific about how he is crafty? That would maybe help us out a bit.

If he sews, embroiders, cross stitch, etc... you could make him or help organize his sewing box. You could just increase his stash of thread, fabric, needles, etc... Make a pincushion, needle book, thread catcher, etc...

If he makes wooden things; you could get him brushes, sand paper or sanding boxes, paint, new bits for drills or dremels, stain, whatever.

For any craft you could maybe make him a crafty tool belt or apron to keep some of his important equipment near him when he needs it. You could always decorate that belt or apron and fill it with necessities.
