My wedding was 6/6/09 and I found a lot of inspiration all over the web.  I found and totally fell in love with the aqua and red color theme.  I mixed in birds because I just like them.

This was crafted by a sister and my grandma, but it was too cute not to include!

I bought the cupcake tower online and covered it with paper and ribbon around the edges.    I used a vanilla cupcake recipe and buttercream for the cupcakes.  I found a red velvet cocoa cake recipe with cream cheese frosting for my top cake.  It was also my first time working with fondant, the cake wasn't flawless but it looked good enough (and tasted awesome)!

I stamped the napkins with the same bird that was on our programs.

I made the accessory that I wore in my hair. Hot glue is amazing!

The invitation that I designed with my mom.  She, my dad, and 2 of my 4 sisters actually stamped and printed everything.  I love my family!

Speaking of my family, this is my sisters and I.  We made all the bridesmaid bouquets (7) and sewed the sashes.

Thats about it! If anyone is curious, all my professional photos are on Picasa.   http://picasaweb.google.com/sibelingx

WOW. You did fondant on your own wedding cake with no test drive? You have guts, lady!

Everything looks amazing, but my faves are the invite and the hair ornament! Well done!

Thank you everyone for the nice comments!

For stamping the napkins I just used aqua pigment ink.  I wasn't sure if they would turn out but I did a test and it worked just fine, despite what they said at the stamp store.

We didn't sew the dresses because everyone was spread out around the country, so I went with a necessary evil (in my opinion) David's Bridal.  However, I did sew the red sashes.

I was looking for the recipe you used on the cupcakes.  Is that available for the public?

I am in love with your invitations!! I actually decided on this exact color scheme a few months ago (pre engagement) and its nice to see others to be inspired by!
