I've recently moved to Europe where there is no central air.  It's spring going into summer right now so all my ceiling fans are on high and my windows are open to let fresh air circulate in.  Unfortunately, the fresh air brings pollen and dust along with it.  I needed a cover for my newly acquired sewing machine or dust is going to get all in the gears.  I did some research here on Craftster and on Flickr and decided to make a quilted cozy.  This was my first time quilting but it's a crafty project and doesn't seem to really fit in the quilt area.  If you think it needs to be moved there please let me know.

I took measurements of my pink Brother XL-2610 and cut the strips accordingly.  My machine's nothing special but it has a decent amount of stitch capabilities and all I really need right now are the basics.  Not to mention it's pink!!   Grin

I used fabric from baby clothes I purchased at a garage sale a couple of years ago. I made ties on the ends out of the scraps left over from cutting out the strips.

Hope you like!
