Hey there!
I decided to try out how to do french knots because I realized... that I've never actually tried them before in my stitching! :O So I used them for this. I feel like I have much to learn, haha.
Anyways, these are supposed to be fireworks! I'm getting all excited for Canada Day because all I've ever had for memories of that holidays is good times, even though I have yet to make plans for this year. Fireworks always cap off  the awesome day of free food and parades!

On the wall :B

And the back stitching XD

Thanks for looking!

This is terrific, and I really like the macro shot of the back of the work as well. It tells the story of the piece.
Great stuff.  Grin

Agreed! Beautiful work, the black canvas totally makes it pop! The back is amazing, and I think you should be very pleased with your work, french knots are perfect!

Thank you for sharing this!

Edit: it's dark blue denim fabric and not black fabric, right? It looked black on my computer. Either way, it's still fantabulous!

I love Canada Day, too...because I live right across the river from you wonderful folk and we get fireworks twice in one week, once for you and once for us!  Cheesy

Your piece is lovely and your back is so neat I can't stand it...mine never looks that good!  Embarrassed

Great job!
