Hi Peoples!

Sorry I've not been around much lately, but y'know I've got this blog thang that's keeping me pretty busy.
Anyway, once upon a time I stitched this piece, with the phrase Rock Out With Your Cock Out on it.

That piece was okay, but when I got the chance to do a swap with an awesome artist called MimiLoveForever and she made me this, which was amazing! So I revisited my favourite phrase...

I found a high count evenweave and chose a tidy tent stitch. The effect is meant to be a bit like a Wedgwood plate, and there's a hidden surprise inside the Cockerel, in the form of a glow in the dark X.

I hope you like it. Smiley

I really love this stitch. Smiley The first one is great, but I think this really shows how your stitching and designs have evolved in a really short time. Well done, sir!

Love this!  I just picked up embroidery, but I'm hoping to get into cross-stitching sometime really soon...  I think the hidden X is brilliant too and it's giving me loads of idea for my glow-in-the-dark thread...

You do nice work but I got to tell you, coming across that sure shocked me. Maybe i am just getting old but I know a lot of youngsters come on here and i don't think they will pay attention to the censored in the title. It may even make them look if they know what it means. Perhaps I am just out of the loop. I didn't notice it until I had already clicked on it. I just clicked on "recent post with pics". If we are going to have things like this on here, I wish we could have a special place for them and not where you will scroll past them by accident.  Shocked JMHO

You don't have to get it right the first time, just the last time.

Love it  Grin  I don't really see what's so offensive about it?  You can easily hear much worse things by simply turning on a radio or basic cable sitcoms... I say, rock on wit yo bad self.
