I want to make this kangaroo for a friend, but I don't know which book it's from.

I have contacted the person who made it, but as they haven't been active on Flickr for several months, I thought I'd try to find out in other ways. Any clues? Or has anyone seen a similar pattern for a felt toy elsewhere? TIA.

I'd like to start this by saying I have never made a "stuffie", but it looks to me that it's a simple pattern. I would just draw out a side view of the kangaroo, cut two and then make an insert for the tummy. That's just an idea Smiley
I found this link  - it isn't for a kangaroo but it has the general idea.

I already tried that and discovered that I cannot draw for toffee. I even printed out some colouring pages for kids to try to copy the shape (none of the kangaroos were pictured in profile, annoyingly) but it didn't work.

I'm glad to see my idea about the two sides with a middle bit for the tum isn't wrong too.  Cheesy
