My husbands cousin and I want to make a boob cake for her dads b day. I think we should bake the cake in 2 ceramic bowls but I not quite sure how to long to bake it, how much cake mix to use, etc. Can anyone help me?

How big is the bowl? Generally, you shouldn't fill any pan more than 2/3 full but if you are using a deep bowl (3" or more) you will need a heating core. Wilton sells them and they will help cook the cake evenly. (So the inside is cooked at the same time as the outside.) I'd probably check your cake recipe, use the time for a sheet cake or check it after 30-35 minutes. Better to check it too early than not early enough! I made a stand up Barbie cake with a Wilton Wonder Mold cake pan. The cake was the bottom of the dress but the pan looked like a boob to me before the doll was added. You might want to check out the instructions for that pan on wilton.com (free pdf instructions just search Wonder Mold Pan ) because it might help with some baking instructions (time, amount of batter etc.).
Good luck with your boob cake!
