Ok so I live in Pictou, NS canada and every year they have Lobster carnival and there is a Miss Mermaid and King Neptune pagent. Well my little girl although georgous is not at all princessy AT ALL, but she loves pirates and all things skully. Which by the way we think is awesome she is a very unique little girl and we incouage that. Anyway to get to my long winded point I want to make her the most beautiful pirate princess dress you have ever seen, Priratey but really pretty to I would like her to have a chance at winning this thing to but I want her to like her outfit. If anyone has any suggestions or links they could send me please do and I will definately post pictures when I am finished the dress. thanks a bunch.

I just saw this - http://www.flickr.com/photos/30290613@N03/3614783676/in/pool-childrensfashion on flickr.  It is pretty pirate/princess?

this site has so many variations on a pirate costume, you're sure to find some inspiration
I quite like bits and pieces of Pirate Princess Costume and Petite Pirate Costume but also liked that black tutu linked above!!

Its great she has such "outrageous" tastes Smiley what a little star. If I could just drag my own daughter away from her love afair with princesses and ballet. It would be nice to see something different for a while.

thanks for the links, Our whole family incourages her tastes in all things creepy, At pre-school last week (she is just 5) she had what the teacher thought was rocks in her hand and she asked her for them and she dropped a maget in the teachers hand. I thought it was quite funny the teacher didn't agree, LOL!
