I've always looked at embroidery and thought to myself 'I bet I can do that.' Turns out I can! Not that great, but it's a start I suppose.

I drew the shape of New Jersey onto a piece of broadcloth scrap, grabbed my massive pile of entangles embroidery floss, and went to town.

I did it with the satin stitch and everything, and it looked pretty not bad until I did the French knots for the towns. (On there is, um, Edison, Newark, Jersey City, Old Bridge, Trenton, Toms River, Brick, and maybe others). Then that looked so bad, so I decided to add in the counties. Do not think that I got all 21 in and can assure you 90% of the towns are not in the right counties.

But hey, it was fun. Now I can think of something else to do and start doing it. Hopefully better than this.

Usually there isn't too much to praise about Jersey but this is great.  ( Wink just kiddin' 'bout the jersey part babe, I'm a New Yorker, you know we have to give you guys a rough time.)  Great job, and keep up the good work.
