I don't know if we're allowed to post quilt tops or not because they're not technically finished projects..but I don't do the quilting...so to me, these are finished projects.  And I'm too impatient to wait for them to get quilted to post them anyway. Tongue

Here's a couple quilt tops I've recently finished.

Coin Stack baby top for my neice's 1st b-day (in October).  There's a lot of fun fabrics in this these were fabrics I'd bought to do the charm pack swap, but I couldn't do it because I'm doing the metal swap right now and that's my first swap (I'll be in on the 2nd round of the charm pack though! I've got the fabric cut already)

Hello Betty top for my mom. I'm using the brown for the backing (ideally would have used the brown with orange flowers, but everywhere is SOLD OUT!) and the turquoise for the binding (was going to use orange w/ the orange flowers, but I like the turquoise better w/ the brown).

the colors are really off.. :/

again..colors are really off.

Thanks for looking!

My machine is a super cheap-o and I've tried on smaller pieces (potholders, etc.)...I'd like to do something besides a straight line design...so I'd rather just give it to a professional. Smiley

Plus, did I mention... I have no patience?? hehe.

wow - you've just dived on into the whole quilting thing, huh?  That's great!  And they look fabulous!  I am in process of a Q-sized quilt for my bed, but currently taking a break - the top's almost done . . . debating doing the quilting or not . . .

Yup!  I'll probably get burnt out here shortly, which is good, because then I'll quit buying fabric for a while!

I'm one of those people that finds a craft..beats it to death... then finds a new one.  In the past year I've overdone knitting, crocheting, painting on ceramics, baking and probably quilting very soon.  I'm thinking the next thing in rotation will be reconstructing t-shirts again. I tend to go in a rotation (fortunately... that way I don't have to buy all new supplies just discover old supplies).  And I'm sure knitting or crocheting will come back into rotation around the winter....it's up in the air on which one. I'll either finish my granny square blanket I've been working on for 2 years or get big into knitting scarves/hats/mittens again. Smiley

On a side note, I'm also making an x string block quilt for my sister. I'm thinking that will probably be it for a while.

Although, I've got a black and white quilt on the back burner too... eep. Maybe I'll take a break and make some t-shirts and some bags/wallets so I don't get too burnt out so quickly.
