Hiya, I'm new, didn't know what or where to post. Just found this place...really kewl, and I know I've only scraped the surface. Anyhoo, I paint murals for a living, and have a major crafting bug as well. I've been into making jewelry for awhile, the latest craze is macrame. I'd really like to learn some sewing and bookbinding at some point too. Well, here are a couple of my murals. These I painted on primed canvas, cut out whatever shape, then basically wallpapered them up on my clients walls. They end up being flush to the wall but can be moved later if need be. All kinds of crafty possibilities to make you own wall decals and such, If anyone is interested I'll gladly post instructions.
Thanks for taking a look  Roll Eyes

I like them a lot! If you have done the tutorial already, could you post a link here?

These are wonderful!  I especially like the second one - you could be there sipping a glass of red wine, looking out the window to that pretty scene.

How long would these take you to complete from start to finish?

Heya, sorry I haven't got that tutorial up yet, been wicked sick, yehck! Murals like this can take me anywhere from 4 days to a couple weeks depending on the size and complexity. Half the battle is just getting all the measurements and perspective correct before I even get out my paints!
