I assumed small barettes and clips would be two as that is how they are packaged and how they are worn. That way you can pull both sides back. Sometimes I wear four, I have alot of hair.

^^^^ Same here, I like having pairs Cheesy Though if the barrette is big, then I think it would be okay to send just one.

My favorite hair sticks were a simple wire with bells. It had three loops that were hammered and each had three bells. I lost one in the woods though. I have another pair of thin wrought iron spikes with tassles on the ends. My hair is just getting long enough to wear them again. Maybe I will et a chance to make some for this swap.

I'm waiting for my hair to be long enough to use hair sticks again.

i have never got the hang of using hairsticks! i don't know if it's becasue my hair is too long and thick and slips unwound because of that, or if i'm wrappping and pinning it wrong!  Cheesy  Roll Eyes

With shorter hair I tend to use a forked hair stick. When it is longer, I have to braid it first. I have real thick hair too.

This looks really cool! But I am not sure if I have the time. My hair is down to my elbows but the sides of my head are shaved like a Mohawk. While the hair cut is still versatile I use less of my pretty hair things...

Oooh, I'd love to do this, but will be at Lilies War (SCA) from the 12th until the 21st - would this be a problem? I have no problem with getting these put together in a day or two, if that helps . . . .Thanks!

I'm in!  I haven't swapped in awhile, but this sounds like a perfect beginning-of-summer swap!  Smiley
