A Fell Beast from Lord of the Rings.

Here he is, perched on my TTT:EE box.

His wings are wired one joint further along than my Reign of Fire dragons, which gives them more support and makes them easier to pose. I quite like it, and if I do any more winged creatures in the future they'll be done that way, too.

Tail and neck are fully wired, as usual.

Some closeups of his head. Special shout-out to my friend L Cabrillo, who suggested that the Fell Beast needed visible jaws. And she was right! Once I figured out how to do it, I loved the way it turned out.

Uh-oh. Now I want to watch the movie, but I can't get near the box...
