It's great!

As far as the sash goes, I would probably gather it like BJ's and sew it to the side seams so the back is totally loose. It will look more natural when it's tied that way.

i have this dress in the mint and pastel pink version- shes got it right, the sash is kinda gathered and sewn into the side seams then the back just ties like a bow over the zipper. yours is beautiful! looks great on you!
