I have a gazillion perler beads and there are only so many variations of 8-bit art that you can do without getting bored, thanks for the charm idea!  The kids and I are getting to work ASAP.

I have a huge tub of perler beads too! It's been a year and they've hardly dwindled. Haha. You can make all sorts of different shaped charms with the different shaped peg boards Smiley

Ah, I had forgotten about Polly Pocket...

It's such a great idea to turn them into something wearable, and a definite conversation starter! I remember having one that came with a wee village scene and you moved her from house to shop using a big stick with a magnet underneath the base of it.

It all went downhill when the company that made Polly, Bluebird, was sold off to Mattel. Now they make 'Polly' with rubber clothes and she wouldn't fit in your pocket, that's for sure!!

So that's the back story! Your village set sounds like loads of fun. I had a long rectangular house that when you flipped open had her house on top, and compartments to put things in below. I also had a pentagon shaped one that was a hair salon, what i really liked about it was it had a harlequin floor! I always thought that was really funky. Haha. My third set was a cottage house. All these came from my only 3 sets.

Thank you all for your comments! Man now I'm really curious to see what other Pollys some of you own! I really wish I had demanded for more when I had the chance to as a child. If anyone has other Pollys to rave about post a picture of them here! It would be ever so fun for us to share! Smiley
