hi guys, just made this today... took about 3 hours, but most of that was correcting what I had done wrong (not my day Undecided) but once it was finished I loved it, very happy I decided to make it, and it really is very easy, I just sometimes forget to think before I do Cheesy

so here are the pics

I'm sure there are more ways to wear it.. I just haven't figured them out yet...
let me know what you think Wink

Nice dress!  It seems similar to the Infinity dress.  What is the basic shape of this one?  I googled and it looks kind of like a long tube that is narrower on the bottom, with sleeves attached to the top?

I don't have a link to the pattern because my aunt e-mailed it to me, and the instructions are in icelandic. but I have a picture that shows what it looks like

awesome, thank you so much for that picture, it does clarify it quite a bit!

question, 2nd picture- pocket; 3 picture- the "pocket" turned into sleeves right?

I really really love this!!!

Seems more practical than the Infinity Dress because of the sleeves, and I love that it has pockets.

The color is really beautiful.

How many yards of fabric did you use?  I have some jersey sitting around, but not sure how much I'd need.  I would love to try to make one of these one day.

Hi there, this is AMAZING, and I am absolutely inspired to make one for myself.
Want want want!!
I have never sewn with knits though and so have a few questions.

Are the neckline and wrist seams just a raw seam, or are they finished in some way?

For the armholes in the front of the dress: are those just slits that end up being hidden in the jersey fabric once it is gathered? Have you re-inforced them or made actual inside pockets in any way? I had envisaged concealing them inside a pleat of gathers so the slit was not very visible.

Is your bodice made of a front and a back, or a left and a right (if you look at the Lemuria website it looks like a left and a right joined at the front and centre back)?

Is the 15 cm band at the bottom doubled over?

Is the 150cm a measure for the whole way round, or for a front piece (i.e 3 meters in circumference).
Looking at the amount of fabric you have just mentioned I presume this is for the whole circumference.

Many thanks for the excellent inspiration!
