I claim Lapoli for: An embroidered dishcloth, organic cotton dishtowels (crocheted!), and some yarn in bright colors Smiley

6th claim this round,  1 sent, 3 received, 1 pending

My name is Claire, I'm 25 and I live in New Jersey. I work at an engineering publishing company... I'm a vegetarian, I do yoga, LOVE animals (especially cats), and anything bohemian/indie. My favorite colors are blue, orange, teal and green. No allergies but can't stand the feel of velvet, and chocolate totally grosses me out.

- Art to cheer up my otherwise desolate cube at work <--thanks amessyperfection!

- BUNNY HOODIE! https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=298030.0 I'm sure i'm way too old for this, but whatever, its cute! cotton/jersey would be perfect (i don't like velour)

Handmade toys for a 2 yr old his bday is in July

Any gifts for a 2 yr old boy for his bday

Beach tote bag needs to hold 2 towels, have a small pocket for phone/keys, maybe some other pockets too would be awesome.

Fabric bins/boxes for toys, sewing stuff and other general stuff

Thingy that hangs on the wall and holds coupons doesnt have to organize them, just hold them in one place is fine.

Organizer for back of the toilet

Crochet/knit bikini

Bag thingy for holding bath toys maybe a crochet net-type one needs to hang from a towel bar, or 2 loops to hang from metal shower organizer thingy

Supplies:

Unique fabrics like printable fabrics, grippy material and ultra suede (for shoe soles), any fun prints
Fabric w/ food on it

Shrinky dink paper stuff (even a small amount)

Baltic amber beads recycled is fine

Kits for making any type of new craft batik, tye dye, needle felting, resin pendants, soap/body products, etc.

Notions of any type for making busy books.

A little about me:  I live in North Carolina with my husband, giant dog and three cats.  By day, I'm the manager of a busy locally-owned business and by night, a person who is content to curl up at home with my knitting and a good movie (kung fu or Jane Austen, please).   My favorite color is green but browns and mustard yellows are close seconds.  I enjoy a good glass of wine at the end of the day, arugula and goat cheese salads and driving with my air conditioning on and all the windows open.

Crafts

Handwarmers for my husband - in black or brown

Handmade birdfeeders or bird houses.

Hand-dyed/hand-painted yarn.  Prefer worsted or fingering weights.

A set of four hand-thrown appetizer plates or shallow bowls (they can be small-ish) in greens or browns.

Handspun yarn.

Vintage pottery -- in browns, greens or whites.

Men's stenciled t-shirt. Bike or motorcycle design for my husband. Size small/medium.

Loose handknit cowl.

Handmade, wooden shawl pin

Handwarmers/wristwarmers -- in off-white/creme or brown, maybe, but I'd prefer something tweedy?

Manly checkbook cover in darker colors--brown, black, navy blue. Maybe canvas? Something durable and simple.

Slippers for the chilly evenings!

Polymer clay buttons.

Artisan cheese/bread board made out of wood -- anything like this or =tags&includes[]=title]this

Black legwarmers -- I've got a pair in green, thanks to addicted2knitting, and I wear them all the time. Perhaps another pair in my collection would be nice. Smiley

Anything inspired by my wists! http://www.wists.com/lapoli

Craft Supplies

Freezer Paper Stencil Kit. I'd love to learn to do this myself!

new!The 10 Yard Cuff pattern

new!The Baby Pea Pod pattern

new!The book Vintage Baby Knits

I'd really like to make a rag rug this year -- any worn out t-shirts in greens or browns, the softer the better, would be really useful (I think? I've never made one of these before!)

Worsted weight, 100% wool yarns.

Hemp/linen/organic cotton yarns -- anything earth friendly, recycled, unusual fibers, etc.

I claim Lapoli for a men's stenciled tee.

this is my 6th claim, 4 received, 1 outstanding.

My name is Robin and I live in Oregon.  I am married to Phil, a fantastic cook who spoils me with delicious meals.  We have a one year old daughter named Aria who is the most rambunctious and curious little child that I know.  I am a feminist who is trying to raise my daughter to be anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobicanything (surprises are nice) that supports these ideas will be greatly loved.

I am a wee bit eccentric when it comes to my likes and dislikes.  I am all over the board, I like whimsical, edgy, bohemian, steampunk, pretty, bold, soft, hardI wear a lot of black and grey, but Ive been cautiously branching out into the wondrous color wheel lately.  Heh.  I love fun color combinations like red and turquoise.  I do not like neon or Easter egg pastel colors.  I prefer rich, deep jewel tones the best.  I like images of dandelions, squirrels, birds (ravens, peacocks, and cranes especially), leaves, and trees, but I also really like skulls (not cutesy ones just plain ole skulls or even a tad more colorful like the skulls of Da de los Muertos), anatomy, skeletons (especially of birds and other non-human creatures), and old locomotives.  You can check out my wist to get a better idea of what I like.

Some of my wishes (BIG wishes in bold)Wisty surprises are absolutely welcome!!!

Yay! A claim I can make! I'll claim rlynn for  *tree of life pendant for my friend (silver maybe with greens/blues)

Claim #3 overall - 1 outstanding / 0 in transit / 1 received

About Me

Greetings everyone! I'm a 31 32 year old woman who lives in Florida (USA) with my guy and two cats. My favorite colors are jewel tones like amethyst purple, emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue, turquoise, and amber. I like silver but not really gold. (Copper's ok too.) My favorite color combination is a deep teal blue and chocolate brown together. It makes me happy. I also love things that go along with my "PhoenixFire" theme like reds/oranges/yellows together. My favorite animals are cats, owls, penguins, bats and red foxes. I love to read, I enjoy photography and I love all things Disney!

ALLERGIES
I suffer from migraines so please NOTHING musk/amber/patchouli/dragon's blood or floral scented. Unless it smells like you can eat it, it will give me a migraine. I LOVE fruit and dessert scents greatly though. Also, please no bar soaps (skin is sensitive to glycerin) and nothing with artificial sweeteners like NutraSweet (aspartame) or Splenda (sucralose) as I'm allergic to both.

Crafts

Sewing

*big wish -- A purse in this kind of style. I LOVE, LOVE LOVE this bag. The mix of the cord and the cable...? LOVE. (Could use an existing sweater for the knit part as well if you don't knit. I think that'd work just fine as well.)

*big wish* -- A tote like this one. I love and covet everything about it from the colors, fabric to the pattern.

*big wish* -- A Slanket! (Snuggie) I almost bought an actual "snuggie" but the fabric was icky. (It was like thin felt.) I want soft, awesome microfiber fleece stuff, you know? Something long enough to cover my toes as well.

*big wish* -- A robe like this one. I wear a US size 4 and can send measurements if needed.)

*new* -- A key fob made of fabric like this or this or this. Or, heck, any fabric you think I'd like (cute with owls, or earthy colors, or penguins etc.)

*new* -- Something made from the JOEL DEWBERRY'S AVIARY ALMOND FABRIC. (Stuff like this wristlet or these potholders or this craft apron or this card holder etc. Pillows, aprons, anything! I am just in love with this fabric!

*new* -- A keyboard wrist support like this Can be in any fabric/colors you think I'd like. (I need it for work where I don't have an ergonomic keyboard like I do at home.)

*new* -- A cell cozy/wristlet like this. I love the colors and the shape/size of this one. (My cell is a samsung messager r450 for size info.)

*new* -- A little zip wallet like this.

*new* -- A Disney Pin Trading Wallet like these that MissDisney made. I especially like the red/yellow one since it's very Mickey colored, or other Disney printed ones. (My initial is "M") This would be great for carrying around my pins to trade at the parks!!

*new* -- Some Fabric buckets like this or like this to store and tote around craft supplies.

Knitting

*big wish* -- This scarf in these type of earthy, natural colors. (If it were in a mix of teal blue and chocolate brown that would work too.) I think this is one of the most perfect things ever. I don't really need scarves as a rule because I live in Florida, but I'd find reasons to wear one like this!

-- Hand knit socks. Something warm and soft (no wool please because it itches me) I've got small feet so like a 6.5 size foot or girl's sized large socks for reference. (HUGE bonus if it's argyle pattern. I don't know why but I love argyle.)

Other

*new* -- Embroidered pillow cases or Quilted/decorated pillow cases. Here's the thing. I have standard pillow forms that I got for the new comforter set's shams. BUT...it's too heavy to use in summer. So right now I have no decorative pillows for my bed. If you rather do square pillows, that's cool, I can buy some blanks. If you can do standard size, that's awesome because mine are sitting around doing nothing at the moment. My summer comforter is a beige with a blue-grey and brown pattern. I can give pics if you want. But I'm open to ideas. (Ideas might be something like this or this for embroidery but those are just ideas.)

*new*  -- Hand carved rubber stamps Especially cute/quirky things based on my likes/wist. I like natural things (like trees, flowers, birds, etc.) too. Really, I'm just crap at making them myself and there are so many cute ones out there.

-- Something stained glass - sun catcher, glass mosaic item, etc. I just love stained glass and wouldn't even know where to begin making it myself. I have a wall of sliding glass doors and a balcony to show things off.

-- Something ceramic/pottery or vase or a bowl or a tea mug or whatever. Again, a skill I don't have but really love. (A couple things I've wisted for inspiration.)

-- Anything with a phoenix on it. I LOVE the phoenix and there's not nearly enough phoenix-related things in the world or my life. You can check out my wisted phoenix items here as inspiration.

-- A leather tree ipod touch case like this style. It's SO pretty. (I love the brown leather.)

-- Something glass work like a vase or something. Blown or torch or whatever. A cool medium I don't know how to work with at all. This is really pretty for example.

-- Things for my apartment in Teal Blue and Chocolate Brown. I love these colors together. And I'd love something in them for the home. A quilt or throw; art; kitchen accessories; pillows; curtains, etc., etc.

-- Something (surprise me!) incorporating owls, penguins, bats, cats or red foxes. They're my favorite animals. Note: At this point, I probably have enough owl stuffies/amis so something besides that please.

-- Fused glass or glass (microscope) slide pendants you think I'd like. (Here are some wisted inspiration items as examples.)

-- A ribbon organizer. Doesn't have to be this fabric. It's more the idea and the style of storage that I like here. Chocolate/Teal color combo would be great as would fun/cute fabric or prints (like owls or something.)

-- Wisty surprises! Look at my wists or my amazon wishlist, or the colors I like and see what you can make that you think I'd like.

Craft Supplies

*new* -- Rubber stamp pads and/or rubber stamp markers. I've gotten a pretty cool collection of stamps but I have no ink pads for them!

-- Starter resin kit/supplies (resin, molds, etc.)

-- Starter rubber stamp carving stuff. (Maybe a kit or items like tools, the rubber to carve into, how-to/instructions, etc.)

-- Gemstones and gemstone beads. In every shape, size and color. Donuts, cabs, chips - anything! I LOVE working with gemstones and I can never, ever have enough.

 -- Lampwork beads.

-- Beading supplies. I create jewelry so I'm always looking for unique and interesting pendants, charms, gemstone beads, large focal beads and such. Also, I love Swarovski crystal, unique clasps or toggles, and jewelry wire in 16 gauge and 24 gauge in any color.

Extras
-- Tea! Especially fruity ones.

-- Chocolate! (white, milk or dark) No coconut please.

-- Candies! (whatever neat little treats you enjoy, send 'em my way. I love candy)

-- Sewing magazines. (especially things geared towards newbies)

-- Beading magazines (esp ones with projects/tutorials)

Thanks in advance to whomever picks me! Grin

I claim skaborsk for resin tea bangles

this is my 7th claim, 4 received, 2 outstanding.

BIG NOTE: My wist is very organized (I make sure everything is tagged) and updated frequently, so it should be fairly easy to check it out and see if there' something there you can make...lots of jewelry and some hair doodads, plus craft books.
