Oohh, I love the birch quilt.  How creative!  The knots in the trees are so cool, and I love the patchwork.  It reminds me of a birch forest near my grandparents' cabin on P.E.I. - we used to go there for the summers.  Pretty.  And I love how it's framed!  Cheesy

chrsdx received, and I am relieved to know that she is happy with her new mini quilt.  Phew.  I was having a lot of trouble seeing while I did the binding, so the corners are waaaayyyyy ... not as neat as they should be.  Let's leave it at that.  Tongue

Yo-yo's really come in handy in this type of situation.  Wink

And yes, that birch tree concept is the cleverest thing....

those trees are so cool! I am getting so many ideas for quilts in the future! and all you zombie lovers out there be prepared to start wisting! check out the AMAZING quilt Pearliepie sent me:

everything about it is amazing! the colors are awesome and I love the trees! it has a zombies in the swamp feel to it! I love it!

there are lots of awesome details like the lines on the trees

and the grass (this had to have been a sucker to cut!)

and the leaves are an awesome touch!

and the echo quilting is my all time favorite technique! I didnt even tell her that!

ps- incase your wondering it not me holding it up, thats the boys hairy chest peeking out! lol

I received my quilt yesterday afternoon. OMG, Jenicat, thank you again sooo much. It is SO ME!!!!!!!
I love the checkerboard on the bottom, you'll have to tell me how you did that.. I'll be getting some hooks to hang it up today in my livingroom...

Pearliepie - The zombie sillhouettes are very striking and the quilting around them looks amazing.

Jenicat - the quilting on the borders is really nice and the little tail on the cow is soooo cute!
