I've seen all the cute amigurumis and wanted to try it, so I made this elephant.

I like how it turned out. But I still found it tedious to make. All those small parts, sewing them together. I don't think it's the right thing for me. But it was worth a try.

If it's any consolation, this might be the cutest thing I've ever seen. I literally squealed when I saw it.

Um, hi everyone, I'm sarah, and I'm a craftaholic...

This elephant was my first try at ami too!  It took me quite a few tries to really the the hang of doing ami, but I'm quite fond of it now.  Not enough that it's all I do, but it's useful to be able to whip up a toy for a friends' kid every once in a while!

And great job!  Your elephant is way more even than mine was.  All four of the feet on mine were different sizes.   Roll Eyes

I am walking 12 hours straight for my local Relay For Life event.  [a href="http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/RelayForLife/RFLFY11MW?px=16690269&pg=personal&fr_id=30095"]Please support me![/a href] I'm only 40% to my goal! =0(
