I croched this afghan with veryvery bulky yarn so it would go faster, cause it sure took a long time! It's pretty large, big enough to be a blanket for a twin size bed.  I had a lot of fun with the mountain/valley stitching though. Soft, warm...mmmm afghans. Anyone else make them?

That is great. It must have taken quite awhile. I can't seem to crochet anything unless it is in the round. I don't seem to get my edges very  nice looking.

It did take a long time, a bit more than 50 hours, I think. I did it in the car on a trip, so I had a lot of time on my hands. I've found the more I crochet the better my edges look. Thanks for posting!
