It's a Singer MK-70, and I got it a few days ago from a friend.  It didn't come with an instruction manual, so now I'm ripping my hair out trying to figure out how it works!  Can anyone explain it to me?

I tried searching online...there are some results, but somehow I don't quite comprehend (may be it's just my skills?)

Try search "Singer MK-70" in google and yahoo. You will see something related.

Or can you contact singer and ask them?

Curious about how the machine look like?

We see the throns of the others, but we cannot see the log of timber in our eyes.

Hey, I saw your post via an internet search.  I have been looking for a MK70 knitting machine since 1986!  I saw it in a craft store and fell in love with it however, at the time, I have three young children and not enough time or money to get into machine knitting.  Now have been looking for one in vain.  If by chance you want to sell it, let me know.
