First I made the star one from Ramin Razani's book (ready, it's a mouthful of German) Phantastische Papierarbeiten

Then I made my own pattern for a heart.  Basically, after you have your shapes drawn, you divide the design down the center and scooch one side down a little so the lines don't line up anymore.  Cut it out.  Starting in the center you fold each "round", flipping it 180 degrees and creasing.

Free cutting files (GSD, DXF, PDF), and a link to Razani's book, here: http://extremecards.blogspot.com/2009/05/ramin-razani-spinners.html

thanks for sharing , it looks very nice,
just right for spots that need some color,
it seems to be a fairly easy project.

Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to,
doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

This looks like a lot of fun, and how inspiring! We're moving into a house soon, and I've been brainstorming ways to make my son's room interesting. Hanging some of these from the ceiling might just work!  Grin
