These are two silent auction donation quilts for the local Alzheimer's Society golf tournament in June.

in memory of gramps who died in 2007

in honour of my grandmother who has the #$%^& disease.

and the back

hopefully they will bring in some big money.

They are both beautiful and I can see a lot of people wanting one or both of these in their own homes.

I personally hope you raise a stack of cash for the charity, I can't imagine being affected by this scary mental illness and my thoughts go out to your whole family whilst your Grandmother is suffering it cannot be easy for any of you.

Good luck at the auction xx

I'm so sorry your family is dealing with such an awful disease. Hopefully these raise a ton and a cure can be found soon.

They're both just beautiful, but I REALLY love the first one. Great job.

These are beautiful!  I'm sure they'll do well at the auction.

Those are stunning!  Shocked  You are a master!  I know they will make lots of $$ for the cause.  I am sure that both of your grandparents would be so proud of you helping to cure this terrible disease.  Good luck and please keep us inform of how much you get for them!

These are gorgeous... I particularly love the first one.  Excellent work, and how generous of you to make them for this cause.

They certainly SHOULD bring in big money. Have you considered an eBay auction? They host charity auctions...
and then WE could bid!

Both are beautiful! My mom has the disease and it's a tough one to deal with. I spent the day with my mom taking her shopping and to lunch and it's so painful to see her drifting away from us as her memory of our life together fades. I hope the quilts bring in lots of money but more than that, I hope that it brings much needed awareness to people of how devastating the disease is. It's not preventable yet, but there are lots of things people can do to possibly delay the effects through diet, (brain foods) exercise and and a maybe even a healthy spiritual outlook. Good luck to you, and God bless your grandma.

Say hello to my lil' friend!

Wow, wow, wow. I love the first one. Amazing. I can see all the hard work you've put into it! My grandmother also suffered from the disease for about 10 years before passing away long before her time. Horrible. It was worse for my mother to see her mum deteriorate so much and never got to really say goodbye. Best of luck for the auction!
