Inspired by this wonderful thread I have done a couple of these watercolour portraits, mostly as gifts.  Here are two more and here is a link to the other one I have done:

These are a reallly fun type of painting to do with a superquick payoff (you can do one of these in under and hour). Great as gifts..

Now i just have to branch out in the area of colours!! lol :Pa

Everytime I see one of these I am amazed. I have to try it. I love the colors you used and the amount of detail that you were able to retain.

Those are so awesome! They seriously look like you photoshoped (verb?)them with a cooler effect than photoshop could ever muster.

how do you do the smaller details? like those little lines and whatnot. 'Cus I always keep on smudging (and hence ruining the picture) for the finer details...
