I thought I had already posted these up. It must be a sign that I'm in too many swaps...maybe  Roll Eyes (no, cant be it Wink)

I got a wonderful package from Innaura. There was a beautiful turtle necklace and bracelet,

a very nice capelet that not only my cat loved, but that my roommate stole,

and a beautiful shell necklace. Smiley

Thanks so much Innaura.

Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think...(Christopher Robin)

it'll be ok in the end. if it's not OK, it isnt the end

I checked with my mail room today and they said the package tracking showed my partner, korock, received yesterday. I hope she doesn't mind my posting this pic I took before I framed it. It's cross stitich and I was pretty proud of how it turned out.  Smiley

I hope she likes it as much as I enjoyed making it.

I got my amazing package from Mellifluous the other day!  Smiley We're getting our house ready to sell, so it's been busy here.  I'll post pictures later today.  It is incredible the amount of work she put into making this beautiful cross-stitch piece!  (as you can see in the post above!)

Thanks, Innaura! I liked this pattern so much that I wanted to do it for this swap, even though I feared it would take forever. But my partner korok was so sweet and understanding about receiving late. (Kudos to korok!) I'm thrilled she likes it.  Smiley

Here are pictures of the awesome package Mellifluous sent me! I know it's already up here, but it's so beautiful, I had to post it!

I love it!!!

A few close-ups of the piece - I love the rosy cheeks!  And the wing details!  Wow!!!  Talk about about patience and dedication!

And all the fun extras included!

You were an amazing swap partner!  It was well worth the wait!  Thank you so much!!!

I'm so happy you like everything, korok. Cross stitiching is pretty much the extent of my crafting ability, but there are so many great designs it's very addictive. I hope you find that to be the case should you decide to give it a try.

I'm glad you liked the little extras too. I have yet to do one of these swaps that I'm able to find pictures or stickers of the themed item in this area. You'd have had more fairy themed extras otherwise. But I know you like owls too.  Grin

Thanks for my wonderful gifts as well, I'm putting them all to good use. I get compliments every time I wear the bracelet and the hippocampus tote goes with me everywhere.
