i made my own.. since i can't read patterns yet... it's 39 stitch things in a row and keep going around in a circle... then after like 12 rows change up the yarn and keep going and then after 24 rows change back and do 4 rows... something like that.. i only have a j hook so that's what i used haha..
I don't know stitchs either i just sort of made it up haha..

Donna Koller's book, "Encyclopedia of Crochet" has a tutorial on left-handed crochet.  The patterns in the book are horrid, but I'm sure that seeing everything in left-handed would help.

AWESOME!  I have to say they are the nicest pair of leg warmers I've seen yet and its even more awesome that you made it up as you went along rather than following any sort of pattern.  Great job, nice color, you have nice taste girl!

ooohhhhhhhhhhhh. i love it! i'm making my kiddo a capelet and had the same idea to knit (i'm a knitter, gotta learn to crochet!!) it back and forth and then join in the round for the last part. my daughter will never keep something tied together. it will be on the ground more than around her shoulders unless i make it stuck together at the top.  anyway, i was bummed to learn that you crocheted it rather than knit. oh well! nice job !!  Grin
