So the kids always tell us they love us to the moon and back, or around the sun and back to my heart or something sweet like that. Windy and I were laying around and she started to tell me she loved me to the moon and around Pluto and out by the other plantets, etc.

I started to explain that 1) Pluto's not a planet anymore. 2) The planets dont exactly line up in their orbit so her love would be constantly passing me as it tried to make its way along the path she set. Apparently poetic romanticism is not to be mixed with scientific fact because this was Windy's response:

So I landed a new job (yay) but it gaurantees I will not have all day to sit and cross stitch like I have the past year (boo) so this is part one of what I am calling my "Big Push" to finish multiple projects before the new job starts on the 18th.

ROFL! As one who has the tendency to want to set the record straight when keeping my mouth shut would be the best plan I can relate.

This is a great piece. I'll bet she'll hang it in a prominent place too.  Wink

Humbug. Talk nerdy to me, it'll work every time Wink
Maybe it's not as romantic, but it would sure keep me from getting bored Cheesy
I love the piece though, and tbh it's probably what I would retort with as well (though secretly approve of the cause for the retort)
