Hello everyone!  Grin

I'm very excited to present this dress to you all! I know it's not Easter anymore, but that's what the dress was made for. I just had a shoot done by my wonderful friend Hilary. She is currently studying photography at the same school I had gone to! Yay! That makes me sound old... I'm not. haha! She's only a couple of years younger. Smiley I was waiting for this to be done so I could post some nice pictures here.

Anywho, this dress is done in tiers. I ruched the layers to match up to the tier above it to give it that ruffled look and a bell shape. The top is done by stretching elastic as I sew so that it pulls the fabric in all scrunchy and stretchy! I love the way it feels. It can fit many sizes too!  Cheesy The top half has a silk ribbon that I ruched to size at the waist and on the top. The bottom has this lacey stuff that looks like a doily unrolled. hehe!

I love the fabric, though it is a little country. But I guess that style works on me, as I kinda like it. I haven't made clothes in a long time. This was all done without a pattern, just winged from looking at varying clothes I like.

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks! Smiley

I just fell in love with your dress! I want one, too! Cheesy  It's so pretty and it fits you perfectly. And you live in a very beautiful place.

I love your dress. It looks so comfy and fun and flattering too! In the third picture you look like a fairy. Tell your friend that the colors are beautiful in the photos, but she should be careful about the background....you've got stuff growing out of your head. I hope that's not harsh....I just know it's an easy mistake.

The dress is awesome! It looks great on you. Did you make the sweater too? I'd LOVE to know where you got it.
